Climate activists are again planning to ‘disrupt’ Sydney this afternoon, this time with a Halloween-themed ‘dance disco’.

Extinction Rebellion will take to the streets of Sydney’s CBD this afternoon during peak hour.

Starting at Pitt Street Mall, protesters dressed as skeletons and ghosts will “slide and shimmy down Sydney’s streets in a supernatural style”.

Rita Panahi tells Steve Price she’s sick of these performative protests.

“These people are nuts, they’re Marxist, they don’t give a stuff about the environment.

“Climate change is just a means to push their nutty theories.”

Chief Inspector for NSW Police Paul Dunstan tells Ben Fordham these protests are becoming a weekly occurrence.

“We manage to deal with it each week, but it is getting a little bit tedious, to be honest.”
