The journalist behind The Teacher’s Pet podcast has reacted to the guilty verdict in the case of Chris Dawson.

Dawson has been found guilty of the murder of his wife, Lynette, 40 years after her disappearance on the northern beaches.

He maintains his innocence and will likely appeal the decision.

Hedley Thomas was responsible for bringing the cold case back to light with The Australian podcast.

Thomas told Ben Fordham his interest in the case started in 2001 and the moment the guilty verdict was delivered was “amazing”.
