The actress playing Mary Poppins in the upcoming stage production has caught up with Deborah Knight ahead of her debut.

Actress Stefanie Jones told Deborah Knight Mary Poppins has a strong connection with Australia.

“The story is so quintessentially British that we forget her roots are here in Australia.

“It’s really, in a way, like the story is coming home.”
