A major health breakthrough for everyday Australians will take place this week when the very first skin cancer truck launches at Manly Beach.

The truck will offer free skin and spot checks for anyone who takes advantage, with the initiative kicking off on Friday.

Australian Skin Cancer Foundation CEO Jay Allen told Deborah Knight the initiative is part of a wider goal to get the government onboard.

“We’re going to take this data to the government,” Allen said.
