Article image for The ‘shocking’ reason Oatlands driver seeking second appeal

The drunk and drug-affected driver who killed four children in Oatlands is seeking an appeal on the grounds of ADHD.

Samuel Davidson had his sentence reduced by six years and is now seeking a second appeal, claiming judges failed to determine if his ADHD was linked to his actions.

“I can’t quite believe this,” Ben Fordham said.

“He’s lucky that he’s only serving 20 years, when in reality he should be there for life.”
