The real reason for massive airport delays

Queues have been out of the door at Sydney Airport today as travellers and staff battle the busiest day at the terminals since the pandemic struck.

More than 82,000 passengers are expected to move through the domestic terminals throughout today ahead of the Easter long weekend and chaos has ensued.

Flight Attendants Association Secretary Teri O’Toole told Luke Grant the blame for the issues cannot solely rely on COVID.

Most workers are now casual due to recent cuts and Ms O’Toole said loyal passengers are suffering.

“There’s no loyalty, there’s no goodwill… they don’t work for the company.”
