Aussie kids are brought up earning their first license before they’re teenagers with their pen licenses, but is it time for kids to have typing licenses?

With pen and paper being abandoned quickly across almost all jobs, there’s been a push for students to be more vigorously taught how to type, and at speed.

Touch-typing advocate and Founder of EdAlive (which runs the Typing Tournament) Graham East spoke to Deb on why typing is a vital skill.
