Multi-Golden Globe nominee Sam Neill, Miranda Otto, Patrick Gibson and Sophie Wilde walked the Stan blue carpet in Sydney last night to celebrate the  world premiere of the Stan Original Film The Portable Door premiering Friday April 7, only on Stan.

Gibson plays the lead Paul Carpenter, described the film as fantasy, magic and sci-fi with a lot of comedy.

“That’s actually what really attracted me to it and the book as well, it crosses all these different genre and elements and makes a mad cocktail out of them,” Gibson said.

“A mad cocktail is a good way to describe it.”

The film, that was filmed in Australia boasts a big Australian cast, including Neil, who said the film was a lot of fun.

The Portable Door is in cinemas for a limited release before launching on Stan on April 7.
