Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, James Paterson, has responded to the PM’s response regarding the release of a detainee now charged with assaulting an elderly couple. 

“The Prime Minister lied. He said the Community Protection Board makes decisions. That’s wrong. [They] has no power to make decisions. They only make recommendations…”
