‘The pile on needs to stop’ – Why ‘MG’ says it’s time to move on from Panthers trainer-gate
The NRL has come down hard on the Penrith Panthers, banning trainer Corey Bocking for five matches and fining the club $50,000.
Panthers coach Ivan Cleary said in a press conference that Bocking is “embarrassed” about the situation.
Mark Geyer (‘MG’) and Adam Hawse stated that the “pile-on” needs to stop, arguing the fine and action are sufficient and that the incident must not be repeated in the NRL.
