The NSW housing targets are set to increase, with the aim of improving affordable housing.

Paul Scully, the Planning Minister of New South Wales, has warned councils of increased housing targets, however, there are many councils that have not met the current housing targets.

As a state, New South Wales needs to have a target of building 314,000 new homes in the next five years.

The Mayors of Liverpool, Campbelltown and Northern Beaches joined Chris O’Keefe on Drive to discuss the Planning Minister’s plan to increase housing targets.
