It has been revealed that an NSW minister ended up with a broken arm after an intense arm-wrestling competition with one of his colleagues.

Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello ended up in hospital last year after an arm-wrestling challenge with Attorney-General Mark Speakman.

The reason at the time was unknown, but a spokesperson for Mr Dominello has confirmed he had broken his humerus bone and was treated in the public system.

Mr Speakman tells Ben Fordham it all started with a cartoon.

“What happened was the Herald had published a rather unflattering cartoon of me and Victor was teasing me, said I had spindly arms.”

He goes on to tell Ben exactly what happened.
