Cranbrook Student Lachlan Harris topped the state for Advanced Mathematics out of more than 17,000 students.

But he told Deborah Knight he still has to finish Year 12.

Among the top students in this year’s HSC, 60 are from the areas which were subjected to the worst of last year’s COVID lockdowns.

“I’m looking to do a degree in business or economics,” Lachlan told Deb.
