The hidden Service NSW feature helping you track your COVID exposure risk

Article image for The hidden Service NSW feature helping you track your COVID exposure risk

The Service NSW app has a little-known feature allowing users to check if they’ve crossed paths with an infected person.

Exposure venues are marked in your check-in history with a red ‘COVID-19 case alert’ badge.

Digital and Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello told Jim Wilson the feature has been available for a number of weeks, but will soon be further improved.

“The next piece will be to put the notification [in], subject to Health, because obviously this has got to be a collaboration with Health.

“If Health give us the green light, then hopefully we can do it by Friday.”
