The great lengths Sydneysiders are going to to charge their electric cars are being revealed.

A listener has sent a photo of an electric car at Millers Point, hooked up to a charging cable that’s wrapped around a tree and leading into the townhouse.

The unique set-up comes after Ben Fordham revealed what a northern beaches resident did to charge their car.

Ben says the photos serve as “reality checks” for those making electric cars the way of the future.
