The end of the line – Dugald Saunders steps down

After two and a half years, Dugald Saunders is stepping down as leader of the New South Wales Nationals, but will remain the member for Dubbo.
He says it’s the right time to take a step back and focus on his family and himself, as to allow a new leader to take up the fight ahead of the next election.
