The courageous woman still bound by an NDA despite Roger Ailes’ death
The woman who took down one of the most powerful men in the world is still bound by an NDA.
In 2016, American broadcaster Gretchen Carlson went public with sexual harassment allegations against her boss, Fox News chief Roger Ailes, stating that she had been fired for turning down his sexual advances.
Her legal action led to other women going public and he was eventually fired from his role before dying in 2017.
She told Ben Fordham her non-disclosure agreement prevents her from speaking out.
“My NDA is with three separate parties, and they do that on purpose to try and make sure you never own your own voice.
“My NDA is with Fox News, with the parent company … the Murdoch’s, and is also with Ailes’ family and it supersedes his death, so now it moves to his wife and his son and if you don’t think that’s crazy I’ve got a bridge I can sell you.”
