The lead singer of Australia’s ARIA award-winning blues rock band The Black Sorrows performs in-studio on The Chris Smith Show.

‘Citizen John’ may be the band’s 21st album but for their lead singer Joe Camilleri, it’s the 49th album he has worked on, including albums for Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons.

Joe Camilleri still plays 160 shows a year worldwide and tells Chris Smith it took 18 months to create the new album.

“Like a collection of paintings.. what I’m doing now has value to me.”
