A teenager has been charged with the shooting murder of a man in the state’s Central West.

Just before 5pm on Monday, emergency services were called to a home at Parkes after reports a man had been shot.

Paramedics found a 25-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest in a critical condition.

Hw was rushed to the local hospital but couldn’t be saved.

Police arrested an 18-year-old man at the scene and have now charged him with murder.

He’s been refused bail and will face court today.

It’s understood the incident may have been sparked by a neighbourhood dispute.
