A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with allegedly stealing from the elderly while they slept.

Two units at an Albion Park Rail aged-care facility were broken into in the early hours of Thursday, May 21.

Cash was later withdrawn from an ATM with cards stolen from the units.

The teen was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal.

He’s been denied bail and will face the children’s court today.
