A lobby group with an official relationship with the ABC wants the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ removed from the workplace.

ACON suggests the titles be replaced with ‘primary or secondary caregiver’.

“It’s another nutty proposal from people completely removed from reality,” Ben Fordham said.

According to The Daily Telegraph, 60 government departments have paid to sign up to ACON’s schemes.

The public broadcaster also pays thousands of dollars a year to be a member of ACON.

“Pay them out of your own pocket, because we don’t consent to our money being spent on this kind of crap,” Ben warned.
