Hundreds of taxi plate owners are planning to protest against the government’s compensation package.

The taxi industry will hold a peaceful protest on Thursday, from 11am to 1pm outside NSW Parliament.

Some will travel from regional NSW to attend.

MPs will be invited to appear at the protest and speak with those affected by the package.
