Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers has weighed in on the 2025 budget that was handed down and how it will aim to change the lives of Australians. 

Labor’s pre-election budget promises tax cuts for 14 million Australians, reducing the lowest tax rate from 16% to 14% by 2027. Mr Chalmers told Deborah Knight the changes would leave the average worker around $500 better off.
