It was a star-studded audience that welcomed the smash hit musical Jersey Boys on its return season at Sydney’s stunning Capitol Theatre.

A standing ovation greeted the cast that belted out the string of hits made famous by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

The award-winning show Jersey Boys traces the gritty story of tough beginnings and the rise to fame of the group.

Ryan Gonzales is Frankie Valli -, hitting all the right (and high) notes while Thomas McGuane, in his first professional role, impresses as Bob Gaudio.

The wonderful Glaston Toft reprises his role as Nick Massi.

Hit songs including ‘Can’t Take My Eyes off You’, ‘Walk Like a Man’, ‘Bye Bye Baby’, ‘Sherry’ and ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ all feature in the musical.

Amongst the opening night crowd, Kerri-Ann Kennerly, Ada Nicodemou and Glenn A Baker.
