Chris Smith speaks with Ireland’s Minister for Justice and Equality Charles Flanagan ahead of St Patrick’s Day on Saturday.

“I would encourage people to become involved in our festivities, the great links between Ireland and Australia,” he says.

To celebrate, Sydney will light up in green, with a ‘greening’ on the harbour.

“It’ll be fantastic to see the iconic Sydney Opera House greened for the day in honour Ireland, in honour of St Patrick.

“I would encourage you to wear something green tomorrow.”
