Sydney Fish Market swamped with Good Friday customers

The Sydney Fish Market is in the swing of what’s traditionally its busiest day of trade, Good Friday.

50,000 people are expected to pass through the doors in Pyrmont.

The Sydney Fish Market’s Alex Stollznow tells Chris Smith it’s already been a busy week, but there’s plenty more fresh catch to be sold.

“In the week leading up to today we sold 330 tonnes at auction, but today on site we expect to trade in 650 tonnes of seafood.”
