38-year-old Kyle is behind the challenge. His battles with depression and addiction have taken a lot away from him.

Kyle used to have a successful building company, a partner, and a good relationship with his two young boys.

However, his struggles have left him homeless, jobless, and living out of his car.

In the middle of this dark place, Kyle has decided to do something insane.

He’s decided to skateboard 8,000 kilometres across Australia, and then back again.
