Ben Fordham has confirmed with the NSW Health Minister there are no day trips to the regions allowed under the new health orders.

The suggestion day trips, but not holidays, were permitted from Monday came after Kiama MP Gareth Ward released a statement to that effect.

However, Health Minister Brad Hazzard has put the case to bed.

“That is 100 per cent wrong, so don’t listen to it,” Ben reported.

“We can only go into the regions after we hit that 80 per cent mark, and only for the fully-vaccinated.”
