Child remains in hospital after Manly school explosion
One student remains in a stable condition in hospital after an explosion at a Manly school.
11 students were initially hospitalised after the blast at Manly West Public school.
It’s understood the class was carrying out a science experiment when strong winds picked up materials.
The Careflight helicopter is flying to the scene while ambulances have also responded.
Five children were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, while another four were at Northern Beaches Hospital.
