NSW is being warned about heavy rain and floods with storm season upon us.

NSW SES Commissioner Carlene York told Ben Fordham storms are expected through November and December.

“Check around your home … it decreases the risk of water getting in your house.

“The flash flooding can happen very, very, quickly and take people by surprise.”
