Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews has suggested German students accused of holding up traffic in Port Botany “leave voluntarily”.

Blockade Australia protesters blocked Port Botany traffic two days in a row, suspended from structures.

Ms Andrews told Ben Fordham she will seek advice on options surrounding the cancellation of their visas.

“The behaviour is pretty appalling.

“I would encourage them to stop what they’re doing and if they can’t behave themselves they should voluntarily leave the country.”
