Dick Smith is slamming a state government plan to double the migration intake after it was stalled during the pandemic.

The Australian Financial Review revealed top NSW bureaucrats had urged the Premier to push for an immigration surge that could bring in two million people over five years.

Mr Smith told Ben Fordham “if we continue that on for too long we’d end up with 100 million population”.

“Think of the gridlock, think of the hospital waiting times.”

Dick Smith is advising the NSW Premier to “try and stand up to the billionaires”.

“We have 100 billionaires in this country, most of them are greedy and selfish.”
