Michael McLaren has called on those working in the Treasury to stand up to Jim Chalmers.

He’s called out the Treasury Secretary for failing to rein Chalmers in after she was caught justifying the CGT tax changes made by the Treasurer.

“There’s a reason Albanese denied and denied that he would tinker with all of these matters before the election just last year,” he said.
