The Matildas are doing Australia proud as the Women’s World Cup has enraptured Sydneysiders, but seemingly not the New South Wales Premier.

Chris Minns has declined to give any solid answer on lighting up the Sydney Opera House for the inspirational national side, and Chris O’Keefe wonders if he realises how big the World Cup is.

“The Women’s World Cup is biggest sporting event to hit Sydney since the Olympics… but for our Premier it just might not be big enough”, he told Drive listeners.
