Australian footballer Bailey Wright talks to The A League show after captaining Bristol City to an historic win over Manchester United in the League Cup quarter-finals.

The win is one of the greatest in the Championship side’s 123-year and sees them move on to face Premier League-leaders Manchester City in the semi-finals.

The 25-year-old Socceroo speaks with Billy McGee from England about the victory, his team’s bid for promotion and his reaction to Ange Postecoglou leaving the Socceroos.

“We had to believe from before the game that we could beat them.

“To create real history you’ve got to beat a team like that.

“I’ll back us against anyone.”
