Independent Senator, Lidia Thorpe, has done a sit-down interview, where she claimed she is subjected to racist remarks every day in the Upper House.

“Every day there’s little niggly comments and racist little remarks and you’ve got to just suck it up,” she said in the interview.

“If racism is happening, call all it out Lidia…Give us some examples,” said Ben.

“Racism doesn’t belong anywhere in Australia… You create it out of thin air.”
