Shadow Minister for Defence, Andrew Hastie, has lifted the lid on Australia’s slow reaction to the US’s request for help in defending the Red Sea against Iran-backed Houthis. 

“This is another example of weak leadership from the Prime Minister and his national Security Ministers”, Hastie explained.

“We should very much so be involved in this because international prosperity and security is at stake”.
