Tech car giant Tesla is having to recall 52,000 vehicles in the US due to their ‘Full Self-Driving’ software malfunctioning.

The Tesla software has caused to let the cars roll through stop signs without coming to a complete halt.

The ‘rolling stop’ feature allows the car to go through intersections and recognise where a stop sign will be.

Drive.com.au National Motoring Editor Joshua Dowling has told Jim Wilson, “I don’t know what on earth Tesla is thinking”.

“This technology is not available in Australia at this stage, and it’s probably a good thing.”
