‘Selective stress’ – Questions raised over pressure and fairness of selective school system

As thousands of NSW students prepare for selective school entrance exams this week, concerns are mounting about the intense pressure on young children and whether the selective system is delivering real educational benefits.

Education expert Chris Bonner warns the process may favour wealthier families and risks undermining broader goals of equal opportunity and student wellbeing.
