A second man has been arrested over the alleged shooting of a couple in Sydney’s west last week.

At 7.30pm on March 20, a 47-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were found with gunshot wounds in their home on Kidd Close at Bidwill.

Both were rushed to Westmead Hospital where they remain in serious but stable conditions, more than a week later.

Police made their first arrest not long after the shooting in the nearby suburb of Blackett.

A 23-year-old man is before the courts, charged with two counts of shooting with the intent to murder.

Now the same charges have been laid against a second man, a 27-year-old from Plumpton.

He’s been refused bail to face Mount Druitt Local Court today.
