‘Scrap the cap’ – MP slams cap on Veteran Allied Health access
Shadow Minister for Defence Industry and for Defence Personnel Philip Thompson has called on the Federal Government to scrap their cap on Veteran Allied Health access.
He’s told Luke Grant, filling in for Mark Levy, that it’s an attack on veterans, and the lack of consultation and communication is a disgrace.
“The Australian Government lied to the Australian people and lied to the veterans … when they lied, I saw it not just as a personal attack but [an] attack on all those that have served,” he said.
He’s also revealed that it will severely impact the lives of veterans who rely on the scheme to access services.
