Scott Morrison responds to Photoshop fail: ‘Not the feet!’

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has responded to an embarrassing Photoshop fail of what should’ve been the perfect family portrait.

In a photo with his wife and two daughters, featured on the PM’s official website, Mr Morrison’s feet have stolen the show, with a simple flaw to blame.

The Photoshop fail has been dubbed #shoegate after the nation’s leader can be seen with two left feet and a pair of sparkling white shoes.

A spokesperson for the PM says Mr Morrison didn’t request or authorise the edit and that the image was “doctored by the department”.

But the PM took to Twitter to respond, saying “I didn’t ask for the shoeshine, but if you must Photoshop, please focus on the hair (lack thereof), not the feet!”

The portrait on the Prime Minister’s website has since been restored to the original image.
