Australian Freestyle Skier Sami Kennedy-Sim is preparing to head off to compete in her third Beijing Winter Olympics.

The athlete was determined to persevere after she suffered a stroke in 2013.

Australian Freestyle Skier Sami Kennedy-Sim told Ben Fordham she’s no stranger to political unrest but believes sports acts as a unifier.

“It’s the one time every four years that the world’s paying attention to the things that we do day in and day out.”
