AFL legend Sam Newman has paid tribute to his good friend, Shane Warne.

It is believed the iconic spin bowler suffered a suspected heart attack while holidaying in Thailand overnight.

Newman told Ben Fordham Warne was “fiercely loyal”.

“Over the 35 years I’ve known him I’ve had some controversial moments and he was just unconditionally loyal.”
