Brisbane might just be the host of the 2023 NRL Grand Final according to the rumour mill.

Peter Psaltis has spoken of whispers within the Sunshine State of Brisbane being potentially booked out for functions in the coveted first week of October.

Psaltis told of a “number” of rugby league names making reservations in Brisbane months in advance.

Magic Round has kicked off yet again in Brisbane, but the debate continues to rage on if Sydney should host.

Brisbane has seen massive success as a host, with Mark Levy going out on a limb as to say it “wouldn’t work anywhere else”.

“I struggle to imagine it anywhere else”.
