Rowan Dean slams university’s move to cancel lectures held in church
A coordinator at Sydney’s University of Technology has scrapped a week of lectures due to be held in a nearby church, claiming it would be offensive to the LGBTI community.
The lectures were moved to St Barnabas Anglican Church due to renovations happening at the university, but in an email to students, Dr Timothy Laurie wrote classes were cancelled due to “the heated political climate”.
Smithy’s All-Star Rowan Dean isn’t having a bar of it, slamming the move as an insult to Christians.
“This guy, what an absolute insult to Christian people throughout Australia.
“He’s trying to demonize Christians,” he tells Chris Smith.
“This is the hard left agenda and they have marched right through our universities.
“It’s a relentless battle.”
