The wicket at Galle International Stadium is proving to be a spinner’s dream on day 1 of the Test against Sri Lanka. 

Australia have picked Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Swepson as their spinners, with Sri Lanka having four spinners in their stable.

“It’s not packed in, there’s no moisture in it … it’s just going to get worse and worse,” pace legend Ryan Harris told Mat Thompson and Brad Fittler.
