There are calls for today to be named after cricketing legend Richard Benaud.

Superfan group, The Richies, want February 22 to be known as Richie Benaud Day because of the cricketer’s famous line.

Co-founder Michael Hennessy told Ben Fordham they’ve started a petition to formally honour Benaud.

“In our eyes and our hearts, it will be today.”
