REVEALED | Why our kids have to wait to get their COVID jabs

Chris O'Keefe

Chris O’Keefe has revealed the country’s vaccine rollout may be impacted by delays, as children wait to have access to the COVID-19 jabs.

Children aged 5-11 can get two Pfizer doses, 8 weeks apart, from January 10.

The dose is a third of the strength of what adults receive.

“But why are we waiting until January 10 to get this rocking and rolling?” Chris said.

“The kids’ doses are not yet in Australia.”

Chris says the federal government is concerned the booster program will be impacted if GPs take long Christmas breaks.
