‘Return and Earn’ collection centres still resemble rubbish tips 27 days into the scheme.

A listener told Mark Levy an over-the-counter collection centre in Fairfield couldn’t take any bottles because they didn’t know how to.

Other collection points around NSW resemble rubbish tips with listener Steve reporting he witnessed the dumping of “old furniture, rejected bottles and junk you’d see at a carnival” at his local deposit point.

It has also been revealed wine bottles aren’t eligible for the scheme.
